StampARTic ~Sketch

This week StampARTic has Turid Mari as guest designer and she has done a great sketch and tutorial for a folding card, well I just had to give them both a go and wow it turned into a mammoth crafting session - had a great time this afternoon coming up with my card and even slit my finger open on the paper - Oooh!! blood and pain - Grrrr!!! It's throbbing I can tell ya!! as it is quite a deep cut...

StampARtic......

This week it's a colour theme of lilac/purple at StampARtic and we have to make a Birthday Card.

My image is coloured with watercolours and Marvys and glittered. I love this stamp it is so glamorous and produces a sharp image. I added a gem to the hat and tiny gems for earrings!

I layered onto purple/lilac Bazzill cardstock with some Daisy Bucket Paper.

StampARTic Challenge

I decided to join in with the StampARTic Challenge today where the theme is no patterned paper, I actually like making cards without papers.

I used my Serendipity "Peace" Stamp for the background stamped with Versafine ink, I intermingled a small snowflake stamp using gold cats eyes ink. I folded back the corner and distressed the edges of the card. Added 4 eyelets and threaded ric rac through tying at the corner where I added two small red glass beads and red string. The vintage image is layered. Stapled a small piece of lace which I coloured slightly with ink - added buttons, safety pin, pearls and prima flowers to finish.
