Something Completely Different - Week 29

Well it's Friday Folks!!!! Yaaay!!

Time for SCD and what a great response to last weeks challenge, we all enjoyed seeing what you came up with!

This week our theme  for your cards is RED and GREEN + SNOWMEN.

A big thanks to the fantastic Pia, this is her last week as Guest Designer. Boy has she created some stunners for us.

Tomorrow is the BIG move and I will definitely have a tear in my eye as I close the door for the last time. I'm welling up already!!! LOL

Hopefully my internet connection will work, my dad's friend is a computer whizz so finger crossed!!!

Winter Wonderland - Challenge 26

Evening Everyone!!

Well after a day of moving boxes, shuffling stuff around!! LOL and crap weather enough was enough . I headed on over to Winter Wonderland and EEk!! their challenge is NO Xmas papers or stamps....So a simple card from me tonight, the most I could muster up among all the upheaval.. And sorry about the awful photo there is just no proper light and the paper just didn't photograph well at all...

So the time has come to start packing up my craft stuff (I'm hyperventilating at the thought of it. My worst nightmare!!!). I'm moving next weekend to my parents until I find a house I like (Hopefully sooner rather than later for sure),I have done my DT stuff for this week but not sure when I will get anything else done or when I will have internet access for my laptop. Winter Wonderland - Challenge 15

Well I have taken a break from the bloomin' packing and had a card making rest !! Have soooo much to do and can't seem to see the wood for the trees! Wondering from room to room with bits and bobs then find myself back where I started!! Grrr!

Anyway enough already!

The theme over at Winter Wonderland is St Nicholas... I love this stamp, it's just how I imagine Santa to be!!!

The lovely flock paper is from Making Memories and is gorjusss!! I kept the card quite simple with not much embellishments. The snowflake is a Cuttlebug die and is glittered with Glamour Dust. Added Stickles to Santa's beard to finish.

Truly Scrumptious - Challenge 20

Our Truly Scrumptious challenge this week is another sketch by ME!! as you can probably tell by the  sub standard drawing!!!! LOL. Sorry PeeepS!!

Our theme is "Touchy Feely" so we want to see texture on your cards this week!

I have used a cute stamp from The Craft Barn called Woody and he is coloured with Pro Markers. The flower is felt and I used Ric Rac for more texture.

Also further to my news about selling my house - it has now definitely been sold and I am now homeless!!!!

EEEK I'm having a meltdown !! although I have put in an offer on another house but looks like it could be a drawn out affair so I will be moving out in a couple of weeks so bare with me meantime as I might not be around much over the next few weeks. I feel the stress coming on already... Watch this Space folks!!!

365 Cards...

Afternoon! What a busy weekend it's been here, my heating packed up and it has been bloomin' fffrrreeezing!! It needs a new "bit" - Quite a big "bit" apparently so better start saving now me thinks!!! Grrrr, Just what I needed at this time of year. I am also trying to sell my house and have seen another one I like but things are not progressing very well so forgive me if I haven't been around much lately.. I have SO much going on!! and the heating was just the last straw - What are the chances of it breaking down when I intend to sell!!!

Anyway I was having a look through some challenges to take my mind off and spotted this lovely sketch over at 365 Cards - I thought I would give it a go.

Wheeee! A Lovely Surprise from Mr Postie!

Well there I was running late at lunch time like a bear with a sore head. Got drenched in the rain and looked like a "drooked rat" (Kath! you'll know what I mean), trousers soaked up to the knees this bloomin' weather is driving me mad!! Got in and wheee there was a brown envelope now I started to wonder what I had ordered and forgotten about!!

Ripped it open and out popped the most beautiful card and little box with some gorgeous notelets and envelopes inside. What, Who???..........

All from the loveliest friend that is Terrie Bailey - What a lovely surprise and just what I needed to lift my mood....

I'm forever drooling at the stunning stuff she creates but to actually HOLD them in my crafty paws  - Yum!!!

So Thank You Terrie - You Rock!!! and it made me smile for the rest of the drippin' wet day!!! LOL

Winter Wonderland - Week 22

Afternoon and did you remember to put the clocks back!! No longer lie for me just woke up at my normal time so it will probably feel like a long day today!!!

I hopped over to Winter Wonderland and saw that it was an open theme so I dug out this Cuttlebug Folder that has been lying around for months unused.

The flowers were a download from Jak's Crafters Kitchen, the paper is Anna Griffin. I had a total nightmare trying to photograph this card,  the light is horrendous.

Bad Mr Blogger - Couldn't get in to my blog this morning!!!

Morning!!!! We are having the worst time of it up here with the weather. It has rained for days and I for one am cracking up!!!

It's also time for another week of Inchies over at SCD - Our theme this week is "FACES". Thanks so much to everyone who continues to join us every week.

The nights are getting so dark so early and boy it's only something like 9 weeks until Xmas - I can't burleeeeeve it really, it only seems like yesterday I was tucking in to my Xmas dinner...!!

The Winter Wonderland challenge this week is Xmas Stockings, now I didn't have much in the stocking department in my stash but came across this cute felt sticker... there's something magical about Xmas Stockings maybe it's the anticipation of what's gonna be in them on Xmas Morning!!!

Well I'm off to do some cleaning and ironing EEEK!! Lots of fun for me this Sunday!!! (NOT!!)

Morning Folks! Whee!! We're half way through the week already - boy! time is just flying by..

Sorry for being a bad bad blogger lately but I have quite a lot on my plate at the moment which hopefully will all be sorted out soon...
