Xmas Snow village

I made this quick card last night - I love using Black and White and my favourite Cuttlebug Embossing Folder is the Snow Village - It's actually called Winter House but it's more like a village to me!!!

I embossed my "village" onto watercolour paper which gives a really good impression, I then used my Nesties for the rectangle layers. I put part of the card at the bottom into the snowflake folder making sure it was straight and embossed to give a small border. I then added my icy Stickles to the village and border. The material ribbon I spotted in my local craft shop - I love the tartan pattern on this. Tied my bow and slit the side of the card so I could thread the ribbon through for a neater finish.

Absolutely stunning card Dawn! I love that embossing folder too and must try it on watercolour paper, thanks for the tip. The way you did a border of snowflakes is a great idea and looks wonderful. I really love that ribbon it's the perfect finishing touch. Chris x
