I’m so glad it’s Friday, it’s been a bit of a crap week so looking forward to two days off!!

Well this week I chose the letter “H”.
Again you can make anything you like as long as it incorporates an “H”!

The Craft Barn Competition is now up and running on the blog - it continues for the next 3 weeks and will help you to create a mini album using sketches designed by Isabelle, there will be samples for each page done by Isa, Chris, Poupette and Sandy from The Craft BArn Blog DT. Join in and as well as making a mini album you can also win £30 of products. Here is a little wotsit that you can put on your blog if you want to play along. OOh just think of all that lovely stash available to win!!
Here are the rules:
HOW DO I ENTER?
All you have to do is to make your own mini album following the sketches:
9 sketches in all
- 1 for the front cover (today)
- 8 more for the inner pages
- no sketch for the back cover. This will be up to you.
You can post your pages on your blog everyday, as you go along, or you can wait until you have made the whole mini album and post it on your blog then.
Whichever way you do it, the link you will give us (by May 15th) will have to be a post on your blog where we can see the **whole mini album** in one click. It will be much easier for us to check all the entries.
HOW TO USE THE SKETCHES?
Use the sketches as a 'starting point' for your pages. You can add more embellishments if you want, turn a photo if it looks nicer, use rub-ons instead of stamps for the backgrounds... As long as each page looks like the sketch, it will work.

We don't want you to miss out if you don't have a blog so you can still enter the competition without a blog but please follow these guidelines otherwise Isabelle will lose the will to live!
1. Send ONE EMAIL with ALL pictures once you have completed your album to competition@thecraftbarn.com. The subject of the email should be: Craft Barn competition + name - eg: Craft Barn competition-Fiona Smith
2/ Each picture must have the name of the person and page number, like "fionasmith-page 1" "fionasmith-page 2".
Pictures sent without the name and number can't be entered in the draw because we won't necessarily know whose are whose.
3/ The pictures we receive will be published online through a gallery managed by the Craft Barn.

Morning! Friday again and where has this week gone, time is just flying by and not much blogging from me lately, so much going on with the new house, trying desperately to get moved in real soon!!! (Not soon enough for my liking though!!!)
So this weeks challenge over at SCD is still our open theme and we are using the letter “D” this week, so you can incorporate the letter D into your project any way you like.
What a fantastic response to last week’s challenge some newbies joined us too which is always great to see… I do hope you can hop over and join us again this week.
I used this cute Inkadinkado dog and paw stamps , Martha Stewart punches (available from The CRaft BArn) and some dew drops, not sure where I got my sentiment stamp from – Sorry!! There is loads of yummy stash over at The Craft Barn so do pop over and check it out.

Morning Folks! Boy! have we had some great weather these last few days, a bit cloudy today though but spring is definitely here…
So this weeks challenge over at Truly Scrumptious is appropriately “April Showers” and here is the sketch for you.
Papers are Basic Grey “Marrakech” and Tilda is coloured with Pro Markers. I added dew drops and little square buttons and the sparkly flowers.

Morning folks and here we are again another week flown by and time for another challenge at SCD.
We are using the letter B this week and it’s an open theme for the month so you can make whatever you like as long as it has something to do with a B!!!
I have made an ATC using my Butterfly punch and some paint swatches from B & Q!!!
Well hope you have something lovely planned for the weekend, our weather here has greatly improved, it certainly puts s a spring in your step…

So our new challenge for April is Letter of the alphabet, it’s a “free” month so you can make whatever you like, cards, inchies, tags etc.

So much going on at The Craft Barn at the moment. Firstly the wonderful Sandy is offering a real Easter treat – Free P & P on all UK online orders and on all European orders over £20, how great is that! It starts tonight at midnight and continues through until 8am on Tuesday morning.
Next is the June Extravaganza Weekend of the 12th and 13th. There are non other than 23 demonstrators including Suze Weinberg and Emily Block from Stamping Bella, Sandy has hired 3 halls so there will be loads of room to visit all your favourite demonstrators.
