Still Keepin’ It Simple!!

Evening peeps!

Well thankfully the road works have ended, boy what chaos they caused, it even made front page of the local paper it was so bad!

Well I have had a little play with some more simple ideas. Dug out some stamps that hadn’t seen the light of day for ages.

AT Last…… The Craft Room is DONE!! (Long post Alert!!!)

Hi Folks! Well it feels like I have been absent from blogland for ages, I have just been coasting along really, it feels like ages since I did a challenge in fact I can’t remember when I last entered one!! How bad is that! I haven’t had time to visit hardly anyone either but now – Fingers crossed I will get back on track!! I really need to catch up with all the gorgeous cards I have been missing and also catch up with that elusive Mr Mojo!

Anyway took some photos today of my new craft room – I’m really pleased with what my cousin has done! Sorry about all the photos but it’s so difficult to get everything in!!! LOl

So I made a couple of cards today too!! A lady at work asked me to make them for her so hopefully she will like them! I always find it difficult making cards for people never knowing if they REALLY like them or not!! EEK!

Finally …. A Card

Afternoon folks! I had a spare hour or two today and had this card to make for someone at work. She’s leaving to have a baby so what better than the cute Pink Petticoat download, coloured with Pro Markers.

Wimbledon starts tomorrow Yipeeee!! Can’t wait to see the lovely Rafa on top form. What about the World Cup too, so much controversy and surprises, the French I believe have now gone on strike, and England are having crisis talks tonight – Eeeeh I don’t know what to make of it all!!

Ain't He Cute.............

This is a quick post but have to show you the card I made using one of Lim's Whipper Snapper images, doesn't he look a wee cutie in his pink and green shorts!!!! I also used one of the beautiful die cut flowers from Lim.
The image was coloured using plain watercolour pencils and the background paper is self adhesive fabric from KI Memories.
Please go visit Lims' blog - you'll be in for a treat, her cards are amazing!
She is also now on the Design Team for the new challenge blog "A Spoonfull of Sugar"

Birthday....... Enjoy your Day!

I love this colour scheme , there is so much goes with brown. The spiky flower is die cut and finished with prima flowers and a brad. Added a rub on sentiment and small ribbon with another brad. I kept it really simple and refrained from "just adding this"!!

More Cards and Lists!!!............

Well I have been beavering away today!! Have got lists of cards to make, ATC's to make - I'm forgetting what to swap, who I'm swapping with, which challenge, what I've swapped - It's getting to that "making a list" stage!!! I hate lists that's why I rely on memory - must be my age!! LOL
Well made these two cards as they were on a "LIST" from my mum. Both for birthdays - one for Dominic who is 5 and one for my mum's friend. The bird one is not my usual style (if I have a style that is!! LOL). Anyway here they are: The monkey one is using a Whipper Snapper image which my friend Lim sent me and I had fun making that one....

So Many Birthdays...........

I made these two recently for various birthdays- I love the purple Daisy Bucket papers they are gorgeous to use and of course my latest favourites the DCWV All Dressed Up Stack - these papers are just stunning, every one of them is beautifully designed.

I love black and pink together it's one of my favourite colour schemes along with brown and turquoise. I made this card for my mum's friend - I love these large daisies they are Angel Kisses Daisy Bloomers and I use them quite a lot.
