Arts Apart Metal.....

Tilda & Co want us to use some metal on our cards this week.

I'm doing really well for xmas cards this week!!! LOL but I have no idea why they keep turning out red and green (must be a subliminal message in there somewhere!!) although this cardstock is actually burnt orange - it doesn't show up well in the picture, Tilda is coloured with watercolours and stickles. The paper is Sandylion - I love their paper this year, used nesties for the scallop rectangle and circle (cut in half), the metal snowflake is another stash lurker!!!

Tilda & Co - Sketch...

Wow it's been a weekend of sketches. Tilda & Co have a great sketch too!

I decided to do an ATC for a change, I have no oval shapes, so I used a tiny tag instead (imagine it's oval!!! LOL), something's caught ~Tilda's eye on the way to the shops, could it be the butterfly in the garden!!!!

Tilda & Co

This week over at Tilda & Co we have to use an envelope either make one decorate one whatever you feel like. I decided to make one from a 12x12 sheet, coloured in Tilda with watercolours and Sakura pens, I used the lanterns and bread basket to make it look like she was having a wee picnic, summer is over for us now so there probably won't be much more blissfull summer cards to make! The flowers and leaves are from Prima, I also punched some from the same paper and added a wee gem. I used my cuttlebug to make the grass. It's such a nice change from a card and you can pop it into a large envelope as it is.

Tilda & Co

This week at Tilda & Co the theme is embossing - well I needed no further encouragement to get out my Xmas Embossing folders. I love this winter scene folder added glitter, the image was coloured using watercolours, added stickles to the wings and pom pom and round the edges.
Ribbon and rub ons from my stash.

Tilda & Co

This week the theme is Hands over at Tilda & Co. At first I was a bit stumped then it came to me to draw round my hand and create well....... A Hand!!! LOL Wasn't sure where I was going with it but plodded on anyway - It feels like I haven't done any collage for ages so that's the route I went down so it's a bit out of the ordinary for this challenge but I quite like it.
It's all about the Hand of Friendship and the journeys we take through life - Oh and I had to add my wise old owl just for good measure!!!
" When I'm lost in the rain, In your eyes I know I'll find the light to light my way And when I'm scared, losing ground When my world is going crazy You can turn it all around and when I'm down you're there Pushing me to the top You're always there, giving me all you've got " -Christina Aguilera (I Turn to You)
