Papertake Weekly Challenge

Evening Crafters!! a bit unusual for me to squeeze in a card on a Tuesday night but I felt like having a wee play with my new stamps from The Craft Barn, some more Stamping Bellas – I just love them, so here is my card for The Papertake Weekly Challenge and their theme is Buttons, Bows, Brads and Bling

This one is called PeekabooBella, isn’t it cute. The flowers are Prima and the papers were free with some magazine!! Used my MS border punch and added some ribbon.

Papertake Weekly - Sketch 34

Another great sketch over at Papertake Weekly Challenge.

Craft Barn 12 Feb 10

This little image is from Stamping Bella called Ivy Ketto, available at The Craft Barn HERE coloured with Pro Markers. I am really loving these little stamps. The papers are Basic Grey Marrakech and I used my trusty Martha Stewart border punch.

The sentiment I found in my stash drawer..

Well has the weather turned a corner, feeling a bit spring like here today and the nights are certainly getting a bit lighter. Wow and the sun has just come out too!

Peaches spotted another cat in the garden today, the first "other" cat she has seen. Well the tail went out like a bush and she was transfixed. There was a stare off and of course Peaches is an indoor cat so couldn't actually do anything but her eyes were as wide as saucers. Bless!!

Have a great Saturday!

Papertake Weekly Challenge

So I sat down to watch the Dog Whisperer and have hardly moved my butt off the chair..BUT I had a wee look at the Papertake Weekly sketch and that moved me so here is what I came up with.. the image I bought yesterday on my crafty forage with Kath. It's a Sugar Nellie called Bunny - How cute is she (My lost Sugar Nellie never turned up...), coloured her with Pro Markers..

Papertake Weekly Challenge

I thought I'd have a go at Dawny's fantastic sketch this week for Papertake Weekly Challenge.

Now Dawny loves her Pro Marker Boys but I struggle with them so much, so used to water colours and the easier shading that comes with it, well not one for letting loose my Pro Markers just yet I thought I'd try them out again - Mmmm not sure about this image though- they bleed a lot too - Grrr!!! - Any tips welcome!!!

2 for 1.......

House Mouse this week is an embossing challenge and we have another gorgeous sketch from DawnyP over at Papertake Weekly.

I have coloured the mouseys with watercolour and embossed the layers with the stitching border and the bubbles on my Cuttlebug. Punched out dots and added my sentiment cut with my Nesties. I added some swirls and dots rub ons.

I love this dotty paper from PinkPaislee.

Papertake Weekly - Sketch by Dawny

My lovely bloggy buddy Dawny has done a gorgeous sketch for Papertake Weekly.
I haven't done one of their challenges before so hey ho here I go!!!!
I followed the sketch to the letter no little additions here and there!!!

I used these great starry papers I got free with some mag and hadn't planned on using but I quite liked them when I started the sketch. I used embossed white cardstock which I got from my local paper mill, I then put a line of double sided tape along the top and bottom of each square and added blue and silver glitter. The stamp is part of a clear set and of course I cannot find the packaging and cannot for the life of me think what company made them - if anybody knows let ME know!!!! I made the wee tag and added a December sticker, punched some glittery snowflakes and attached with brads.
