The Craft Barn............

Boy! I have been a bad blogger of late, there just isn't enough hours in the day..hopefully I will be visiting you all real soon, so forgive me if I haven't stopped by lately.

I was squirreling away making some stuff for The Craft Barn Blog, so here is a card I made using the cute Whiff of Joy Stamp available by Mail Order HERE.

I also altered this cute wee tin, using texture paste, embossing powder, digital images, prima flowers, acrylic paint, Gold Paint Dabbers, mica flakes, seed beads and Glimmer Mist

The tins are great to use and you can find them HERE at The Craft Barn online.

The Craft Barn is still offering FREE P & P on all UK orders but it does end on Monday so hurry over and check it out.

Afternoon  Peeps!! and boy is it Frosty Snowman weather - really cold... Brrr!!

Well I'm moved and trying to settle as best as I can, it's a shock to the system staying with parents when you have been used to your own space for over 20 years!!! I'm online for now so jumping on quick!!

Craft Barn Pumpkin Card

OOh I had fun doing this pumpkin and tree!!

You can find the tutorial on this lady's blog HERE, scroll further down for the actual post. Unfortunately I couldn't link it direct.

The stamp is by Sandra Dry and is called The Barnets  part of The Scarecrow Collection - available HERE at The Craft Barn. It's coloured with watercolours.

I also got this fantastic Xmas Tree from The Craft Barn begging to be altered. I used Cosmic Shimmer Copper Bronze and ~Olympic Gold  Lustre Embossing powders to cover the shape. I then added seed beads and a gem for the "star" adding some Glamour Dust or the obligatory sparkles!!

I can tell you it took ages to get them pesky beady blighters exactly where I wanted them!!! (LOL) but I loved the end result a great little tree ornament.

I also received this wonderful award from my lovely bloggy bud Teresa - Hope you're feeling loads better after your minor surgery!!! Thanks sooo much for thinking of me...

Sketch Saturday

Good Grief it's been ages since I did a challenge card, so today is the day.

There is a lovely sketch over at Sketch Saturday and I can't remember the last time I had a go so here is my card using my new kit from The Craft Barn who are also sponsoring Sketch Saturday this week.

The cutie stamp is by Sandra Dry and is called "For You" available at the craft barn HERE, don't ya just love that wee face!! The papers are from Craftwork Cards and you can find them HERE  along with lovely Xmas Candy Dots - gorgeous colours and designs.

The Craft Barn have just got their new Xmas Stamps in - Oh dear too much to choose from and all yummy!!! Well that's the budget gone for a burton!!! LOL - Look out for the Joie de Noel stamp plate - Gorjussss!!

Oh dear there has been a distinct lack of blogging, I'm just about keeping my head above the water....

I have managed to do a card for The Craft Barn Blog using the wonderfully quirky Pa Iggly stamp available HERE at The Craft Barn. He is soo fun to colour with that wild mane of hair!!

Well I'm off to catch up with some ironing - Grrr!! Hate Ironing!!!

Polka Doodles....

I made this butterfly box and used the cutie stamp Flamenca Ketto  from Stamping Bella which I got as part of my kit from The Craft Barn Blog.. she is so cute and easy to colour. I used Pro Markers and glitter on her dress. The lace paper is from my stash.

This makes a great wee box for sweets, ideal for the Polka Doodles Challenge which is to make a card/project which is also a gift.

The Craft Barn Blog

Whew it's been raining cats and dogs for the past two hours!! so it gave me a chance to catch up on my DT stuff for next week.

I have got a new admin job at the prison and I start full time on Wednesday - EEEEK it's been a while since I did full time - 8.30-5pm so the blogging will take another hit but I am just so glad to be leaving the shop work behind!!

So on to my card for today using Sandra Dry's "Friends come in all shapes and sizes" stamp - (might sneak in another later!!)

The Craft Barn blog has had a bit of a jiggle around so myself and Ria will be joining the other ladies to make one DT - I am so chuffed to be asked...

There are also some fab new goodies over at The Craft Barn shop including the new Crafty Individual Die Cuts and the cute Motivet Rubber Stamps.

Whew it's hot, hot, hot today!! Gorgeous sunshine again - long may it reign!!

I received my new kit from The Craft Barn and made this great Summer Tag  for The Craft Barn Blog. the Tag is ideal for a fun summer birthday present. The stamp is by Sandra Dry and is one of her Bikini Babes. She is coloured with Pro Markers.

I received this lovely award from  the talented Juliet who makes the most gorgeous stuff from jewellery to felt dogs and keyrings, if you haven't visited Juliet pop over and see her work.

Two Cards for The Craft Barn

Had a busy day today, went to visit my parents in the morning, squeezed in my weekly shop and some more cleaning then I sat down to get my cards done for The Craft Barn Blog.

I used Sandra Dry's "Squaw" stamp and "Stepping Stones". they are both so cute and look at the wee papoose!! I hand drew the "Tepee"!! and added some cocktail sticks at the top, both images are coloured with Pro Markers and I added some stickles to the Stepping Stones card.

A Bit of a Change Around at Kadoodle

Just a wee post to let you all know of a change to the Kadoodle Blog.

It has now been combined with The Craft Barn Blog so we are all one big family now.... called The Craft Barn Blog!

Morning and oh! what a lovely morning it is - sun is shining AND it's a lot warmer too - Pity I'm off to work though!!! Grr!!

Well my car passed it's M.O.T with flying colours - no wonder it's hardly used!!! EEK!!

Today the Craft Barn are releasing 8 new Kadoodle Stamps designed by Carol Staples and Sandra Dry.

Card for Kadoodle Blog

Here is another card for Kadoodle using Christine's Bay Tree Cottage Stamp.

Used Versafine Ink Pad to stamp the image then highlighted parts with a glitter gel pen.

I stamped some topiary bushes!! Cut them out then added seed beads to them. Added ric rac and a button to finish.
