Goodbye "Tag You're It"

Morning everyone!

Well I'm feeling sad today to announce that we have decided to close the Tag Blog. We are all so busy and have so much other stuff that we felt we couldn't give it the commitment it deserved. I am going to miss my gorgeous Teamies , we have had some laughs along the way.

I am so sorry to all the people who put forward their names for the DT, we thought it would be a good idea at the time but it wouldn't have been fair on the new members.

I have had a blast this year and Tagging is very close to my heart - it's really what captured me into this world of paper and glitter! I am thankful for being given the opportunity to express my "Taggy Ways"!!! LOL with such a great blog.

......And a massive thanks to all of you who followed us and came back week after week, my heart was heavy when reading all your Birthday Wishes this week

Morning folks!

Well Friday again and the weeks are flying by. I am so missing my blogging habits!!! Not nearly as much bloggy visits to my lovely crafty pals - Hrrrumph!!! I will try and come see all your gorgeous creations this weekend. I'm having crafty withdrawl!!! LOL

Anyway on to some Tagging and we have a couple of things for you this week on TYI. Our theme is set by Kath and it is 'Time For Tea' - so get the kettle on folks and make us a Tea time Tag!!!

Another Friday Another Challenge!

This week on TYI the theme was chosen by our lovely Carol and the theme is WINGS...

So you can add them to your tag however you wish.

I used this photo real stamp of a Cistine God for my tag- masked it and stamped some praying hands - the background is paper from Crafty Individuals and over stamped. Added some German Scrapp wings and border.

Well it's the end of another week and time for another Tag Challenge - Well we 're in the "LURVE" mood this week AND we have a great prize this week donated by our Sponsor Karen from Funky Kits - 3 Sugar Nellie Stamps!!

Have you Got that Friday Feeling!!!!

It's the weekend already - the days are just flying by AND YES we have snow!!!

The weather here in our little North East corner has finally succumbed and we are covered in the white stuff!! It's not really lying too much as it's too wet

Ugh! I hate snow!!!  Having seen so much of it over the years!!

Anyway on to Tag Friday and this week  on Tag You're It we have a wonderful sketch by my North East Teamie  - Kath.

You might need sunglasses for this one as I fear it IS rather bright in parts!!!

Just what we need to brighten our snowy days!!

I used paper I got from my friend Sabina and attached it to the bottom of the tag, the top half is lovely black textured  paper from my local Paper Mill. I tied a bow of pink ribbon and added three very glitzy flutterbyes.

The sentiment was stamped and embossed with black powder and finally a little square button and ribbon to finish!

Tag You're It - Purple

Morning Taggers!

Boy! Have you been creating some great tags, we are really enjoying visiting you all and it's taking us all over the globe which I just love!

Well we have an extra special challenge this week as we are sponsored by Purple Onion Stamps and Michele has also done a tag for us AND she has kindly donated some stamps from her new collection which one lucky Tagger will win!! So in line with our sponsor this week our theme is PURPLE - Yaaay! I love purple, so get out all your purple bits and bobs and come join us at Tag You're It...

The DT have all created their tags using Purple Onion Stamps.

I layered three different pieces of purple paper for the base, the Thank You plate was stamped and cut out along with the gorgeous flower. I then punched flowers and leaves from vellum and layered them up, finally I set three eyelets and threaded through various ribbons.....

Tag You're It Challenge - NUMBERS...

Well it's Friday again, boy! does it come round fast when you're not working!!! LOL ...... AND that means "TAGS" so our challenge this week is set by my talented teamie Carol, who has chosen Numbers as our theme.

So we want to see anything with a number(s) on your tags, looking forward to visiting everyone again to see what you have all come up with... I love that bit!!!

Well my tag this week is hand drawn (again!! Yawn!!) and covered with free paper I got with a craft magazine, and simply added the flowers, letters and the leaves were punched with my Leone Em punch. I stamped the cute little chickie onto some pink paper and paper pieced his tum!!!

Sugar Candy Kisses....

Well here we go with another Tag Challenge -

This week our theme has been set by our lovely Anne and she has chosen Sugar Candy Kisses - Sounds Yummy doesn't it...So get out your cupcake stamps, your sweetie papers and all things sugary and come join us in our "Sugar Fest" !!We had a great response last week to Kath's stripey challenge and hope to see you again this week..

Well I made a Sweetie Tag which I hand drew and cut out using a photo of a box of chocolates.

I stamped my cupcake and coloured with watercolours and a Sakura glitter pen, I then die cut the Label with my Nesties, added buttons and a little sweetie embellishment from my stash.

Morning everyone! - It's Friday and the weekend is almost here!!!

AND........ that also means Tag You're It Challenge!!!!

Our theme this week is set by the fabby Kath and she has chosen Stripes.

So we want to see all your "Stripey Stuff!!!!" on your Tags, use up all those bits and bobs lurking in your stash drawers...

My tag is a red and black affair!!

Layered different black and white papers in stripes, die cut some hearts and dollar signs, added my flowers and little sentiment with rub ons, et Voila!!

There has been a great response to our challenges and we love seeing all your tags each week, we welcome all the newbie taggers and hope you all come play again, and a big thanks to all our followers too!

First Tag Challenge of 2009!!

So our Challenge this week on Tag You're It is all about using your New Stash - all that lovely crafty stuff that Santa pulled down the chimney just for you!!! Well we want to see you using it all on your Tags.

I have made a Flip Tag kinda thingy!!!

The footnote stamp from Penny Black I got in a craft sale from my local craft shop and the circles are my new Nesties, the diamond paper and circle ribbon are scraps I'm using up from my stash.

So I know you won't need any encouragement to get playing with all your new stuff!!!

Secret Santa Taggers!!! - Tag You're It...

Well it's Friday and boy is it torrential rain and gales up here - AGAIN!!!

So let's get down to this weeks Tag Challenge - I chose the theme of "Secret Santa" this week - Get you all thinking!!! LOL and it's our last challenge of the year but we'll be back on the 2nd of January, so hope to see you all then.

It's based around the idea of when we used to have "Secret Santa" at work - where you'd pick a name out of a hat and buy a wee present appropriate to said person, whether it was humerous or not (depending on who you got of course!!)

So we'd like to see your tags for that special someone or pet! What kind of tag would they like and if you are giving them a present maybe you could use your actual tag, OR you can take the theme literally and make a "Secret Santa"!!

My tag this week is for two Mad Hillwalkers - otherwise known as "My Parents"!!!

They walk in all weathers and have got themselves into some scrapes over the years - half of which we probably don't know about !! LOL - Well it keeps the auld biddies fit!!!

God! Hope they don't read this!!!

Whew! I'm a bit late uploading my tag for this week's challenge - just back from my check up at the dentist - Grrrr!! I'm still traumatised and I didn't even need anything done but the scale and polish is bad enough!!!!

Well I haven't been posting so much lately and have been missing my blog rounds too as my laptop is "Sick"!!! Grrrr!!

So might have to take it to the laptop doctor - then I will be totally lost and missing you all until I get it back.... We will see what happens today anyway.

Meantime it's Friday and that means TAGS!!!

"Snow is Falling"

Okay all you lovely Taggers we're all "Snowed Up" this week over at Tag You're It, so get out all your snow writers, glamour dust and liquid applique out and come join in the Snow Fun!!

I had great fun "building" Mr Snowy this week:

I drew him free hand onto glitter card and cut him out. I made a hat and wee nose for him too!The eyes and buttons are brads and his ruby smile LOL is small jewels.

His scarf is twisted wool and tied. I added the small Penny Black sentiment and another bluer layer of glitter card at the bottom and added some snowflake stickers.
