Evening Folks!

Well as some of you might know my parents are mad hillwalkers - MAD being the operative word. At this time of year they usually take part in The Great Outdoor Challenge which involves walking across Scotland over 2 weeks. Hanging their smalls on bushes to dry and going BEHIND bushes for other things - EEEK!! They have heavy back packs, tents etc - Yup! They are mad!!

I made this card for them to send to their friends who also take part!!

Truly Scrumptious - Challenge 6

Well it's Truly Scrumptious time again and what an amazing amount of entries we had last week - gorgeous cards ladies! It's so great to see so many of you joining in week after week.

So this week we have another great sketch and the theme is to make a card "Good Enough to Eat" - Yum!!

I have made a shaker card and used papers I got free (Again!! LOl) from a magazine. I made my frame with my Nesties. The Cupcake is from one of Regina's sets and is coloured with Pro Markers, glitter, flower soft and liquid pearls.

A Spoonful of Sugar - Colour Combo

Morning Peeps!!

Whee I'm up early today and my first card done already!!!

Todays challenge over at A Spoonful of Sugar is a colour theme of Green and Blue.

Well I'm off for a massage - the beauty salon is right next door so I'm treating myself before I take off for work!!

House Mouse and Cupcakes!!

Mondays are my day off and Goodness knows where they go - I can't believe the time - I seem to have been running around all day like a headless chicken....

I have spent the last hour relaxing and colouring my beloved House Mousie image - boy was it a colouring extravaganza!!! All those bottles and labels....

The theme on House Mouse this week is to make a Get Well Card and Cupcake Challenge wants us to use 5 embellishments - so... I combined the two my 5 embellishments are:

ribbon, dew drops, pearls, flowers and brads.

The paper is BG and my Mousies are coloured with watercolours and highlighted with Sakura Glitter pen.

I used a Bazzill Just the Edge strip across the middle but it is mostly hidden..

I have had a few E-mails about my stamp and I should have mentioned it's called Natural Remedies and features Amanda, Muzzy and their Squirrel Friend.

The Crafty Pad Challenge

Very hazy here today and cold but the sun is fighting to get through.. at least it's not dull and raining!!

Anyway on to this weeks Crafty Pad Challenge which is to make a Gatefold Card. Debbie has some great blog candy this week and is giving away the Butterfly and Verse set of stamps. I used Ted with Flower for my Gatefold card this week, he is coloured with Pro Markers.

Basic Grey challenge

Well I decided to have a go at the Basic Grey Sketch this week - haven't joined them for a while so as soon as I saw the sketch I knew I wanted to use this cute sun image which I think I got from the lovely Dawny P. I coloured that sunny face with my Pro MArkers.

I used BG Cupcake papers, Dew Drops , I then stamped some flowers from a wee set of Stampin' Up Flowers onto some of the BG papers. The sentiment I found in my stash - wheeee!!! A summery card only thing we need now is actual sun and there isn't much of it around my way just now!!

Now I'm off to watch "Mad Marco"" in his Hell's Kitchen - who is gonna go tonight..........

Friday Sketchers

Seems like this is my first card in ages!!! Have been absent for a bit!!

Not much to report, just had a wee break, have got to catch up on some hopping around too!!

Friday Sketchers has another great sketch this week. I used my gorgeous Braveheart and watercoloured him.

Dan The Man - Kadoodle Stamp!!

Morning and oh! what a lovely morning it is - sun is shining AND it's a lot warmer too - Pity I'm off to work though!!! Grr!!

Well my car passed it's M.O.T with flying colours - no wonder it's hardly used!!! EEK!!

I made this card last night for Kadoodle Blog using another of Sandra Dry's wonderful stamps. He is called Dan and isn't he just a cutie in his wee uniform!!

House Mouse - Springtime!

Afternoon from a sunny Scotland today!! Perfect for my day off!!

So what challenge to do today was the question - My beloved Mousies have been abandoned of late so with a theme of Springtime over at the House Mouse Challenge and a spring in my step!! LOL Out they came to play and my watercolours were happy too because they also got an airing!!

I love these colours together but I must say this card did not start off well in fact it almost got binned so after a couple of hissy fits and ripped up paper here and there at last it was done then I couldn't get a bloomin' decent photo too bright - Aaagh I was cracking up but here it is finalllllly!!! That spring in my step didn't take long to disappear I can tell ya!

The Crafty Pad Recipe!

Afternoon and yaay we have some sun but still too cold for my liking!

Done a bit of cleaning and shopping already ! My head hit the pillow last night and I slept like a log - much needed after a few restless nights so feel a bit sprightly LOL!! today!!

I used Debbie's new Belinda in Garden stamp, Bo Bunny papers, dew drops and flowers from stash.

My little ticket is hidden behind my image which was coloured with Pro Markers very roughly I might add!!!!

Cute Card Thursday - Floral Fantasy

Evening Folks!!

Another busy day at work then got home a bit late after queuing for bloomin' ages in the local shop!!

Got in only to find my washing strewn all over the floor - Yup!! Those two furry monkeys had a field day with my washing - they'd pulled it all down and had rummaged among it - smalls included!! LOL Now it has to be washed all over again and de furred!!! Oh! I could have seen them far enough - it's a wonder Kath didn't hear me in Westhills!!! This is turning in to a bit of a habit they must get bored when I'm out and think "What can we do now!!!" - Grrr!!

So had to destress somehow and as we all love our flowers just had to have a go at the Cute Card Thursday Challenge which was Floral Fantasy!!

The flower I stamped and paper pieced with two different papers, added leaves and seed beads to the middle. Stamped my swirls and added butterflies with some more seed beads.

To Die For!

This week on A Spoonful of Sugar it's all about die cuts - and who doesn't like those!!

I used the gorjussss paper from My Minds Eye - dies are made with my Nesties and cute label and tag dies I found lurking!!!

The PB image is coloured with my Pro Boys yet again!!! My poor watercolours must be squealing "Use us" - "Use us"!!! LOL

Papertake Perfect Pastels

Two For One!!

What a gorgeous sunny Easter Monday we have here - hope you are all basking in the sunshine too.

Got my car out - took the top down and went for a long drive - swept away the cobwebs for sure!!! Came back and felt in a crafty mood.

So have had a go at Colour Create - Chocolate, Coffee and Cream - Sketch and Stash have a great sketch today .

I used my new Daisy and Dandelion Decoupage - Oh! they are so cute- did a few layers and the papers are Daisy Bucket and Melissa Frances

The Crafty Pad - Sketch

Hi Folks!

Well I'm making one of my rare appearances these days!! LOL My crafting and bloggy love has all but died a death I'm afraid - not much of it going own up in my wee Crafty Corner - I don't know where the time has gone and my job is making it harder as I am so tired and drained a lot of the time - EEK!! I'm not meaning to winge peeps!!

Anyway after a restless night I have got my card done for The Crafty Pad and Debbie has released some new cutsey stamps called "Belinda" today so they are now available over at The Crafty Pad. They are a dream to colour too!

It's another sketch this week .

Here is Belinda in the garden.. I coloured her with the big Pro Boys again!!!! Lol!!

Goodbye "Tag You're It"

Morning everyone!

Well I'm feeling sad today to announce that we have decided to close the Tag Blog. We are all so busy and have so much other stuff that we felt we couldn't give it the commitment it deserved. I am going to miss my gorgeous Teamies , we have had some laughs along the way.

I am so sorry to all the people who put forward their names for the DT, we thought it would be a good idea at the time but it wouldn't have been fair on the new members.

I have had a blast this year and Tagging is very close to my heart - it's really what captured me into this world of paper and glitter! I am thankful for being given the opportunity to express my "Taggy Ways"!!! LOL with such a great blog.

......And a massive thanks to all of you who followed us and came back week after week, my heart was heavy when reading all your Birthday Wishes this week
